Description
Three Ladies Brand Sanpatong Sweet Rice is extra super quality glutinous rice, known in Filipino kitchens as malagkit, that cooks up soft, sticky, and chewy. Sanpatong is a variety prized for its tender texture and aroma, making it a favorite for both sweet and savory dishes.
Use it for biko, suman, sinukmani, champorado, palitaw, or arroz caldo, or steam it as Thai-style sticky rice to serve with fresh mango. For the best texture, soak the rice for a few hours before steaming or cooking. Comes in a 5lb (2.27kg) bag, about 45 servings.
