Description
Thin, dried rice sticks for pancit bihon, the classic Filipino stir-fried noodles served at birthdays and handaan for long life, from Fiesta Pinoy, a product of the Philippines. They're made with just yellow cornstarch, rice flour, and water.
Rinse the noodles under running water and set aside, then sauté garlic and onions in oil. Add shredded chicken, vegetables like carrots and cabbage, and about 2 1/2 cups of broth, season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce, and bring to a boil. Add the rice sticks and toss now and then until they absorb the broth completely; a pack makes 4 to 6 servings of bihon guisado. 8 oz (227g) pack.
