Description
An instant mix for making taho, the warm, silky soybean curd with brown sugar syrup (arnibal) and sago that Filipino street vendors sell in the morning, this kit from Miguelitos is a product of the Philippines. One pack includes the taho powder mix made from soybeans, brown sugar, tapioca pearls, and the coagulant.
Dissolve the powder in 2 liters of water, boil for 3 minutes while stirring, then stir in the coagulant for just 5 to 10 seconds and let it set for about 30 minutes. Cook the brown sugar into a syrup and boil the tapioca pearls until soft, then spoon them over the warm taho. Makes about 15 servings. 1.07 lbs (485g) pack.
