It's made in San Fernando, Pampanga, and it's the kind of childhood favorite you'd find at the sari-sari store or bring home as pasalubong. It's made with just ripe tamarind, sugar, iodized salt, and fresh chili.
The pieces come in a tray, so they're easy to share with family or set out for guests. They're a great tangy snack for road trips, movie nights, or an afternoon pick-me-up. Store in a cool, dry place. Comes in a 227g pack, about 11 servings of 6 pieces each.
