Description
Sweetened red munggo (red mung beans) in syrup from Buenas, a product of the Philippines that's soft, sweet, and ready to use straight from the jar. It's made with just red mung beans, cane sugar, and water, and it carries a halal mark. May contain traces of coconut and sulfite.
Spoon it into halo-halo with shaved ice, evaporated milk, and leche flan, or add it to ginataang bilo-bilo and other merienda desserts. It also works as a filling for buchi, hopia, and homemade bread, or as a topping for ice cream and taho. Refrigerate after opening and serve chilled. 12 oz (340g) jar.
