Description
Sweet saba bananas cooked in syrup, this saging na saba from Barrio Fiesta is the minatamis na saging Filipinos love in cold desserts. It's made with saba bananas, sugar, water, and sodium metabisulfite, and contains sulphites.
Spoon it into halo-halo, top it with shaved ice and evaporated milk for saba con yelo, or add it to ginataang bilo-bilo for merienda. It's also good on its own as a quick dessert after meals. Refrigerate after opening and serve chilled. 12 oz (340g) jar, about 6 pieces.
