Ready-to-eat ginisang bagoong alamang (sautéed shrimp fry) from Pacific Isles, a product of the Philippines with the salty-sweet, savory flavor Filipinos love on the side of any meal. It's made with shrimp fry, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, vinegar, and garlic powder, with FD&C Red #3 for its reddish color. Contains shrimp (crustacean).
Spoon it straight from the jar as a sawsawan for green mango (manggang hilaw), or serve it with kare-kare. You can also sauté it into binagoongang baboy, pinakbet, and bagoong rice, or stir it into ginisang sitaw and talong for extra flavor. Store in a cool, dry place. 12 oz (340g) jar.
